Jayce LLP s a fast-growing full-service CPA and advisory firm that provides Accounting, Audit, Advisory and Tax services to enterprises across Ontario.

We are located in Markham , ON.

We are looking to add a Staff Accountant(S) to join our team remotely.

​

The opportunity

​

As a remote staff accountant - part-time, you will be a professional member at Jayce LLP. Together with our firm, you will be part of the team that delivers high-quality accountant services to our clients and their stakeholders.

​

Key Responsibilities:

-Liaise with all staff and partners to deliver accurate, complete, and efficient files
-Prepare Notice to Reader working paper file and financial statements
-Assist in the Review and Audit engagements as needed
-Prepare corporate income tax returns (T2)
-Prepare personal income tax returns (T1)
-Prepare other information returns i.e. T4/ T5/ T3/ NR4 & NR6
-Prepare GST/HST filing from bookkeeping records

Education Requirements:

-University degree or college diploma in business or accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of related accounting experience.

​

The Ideal Candidate:

- Strong accounting experience including financial statement and corporate income tax preparation and compliance
- Working knowledge of CaseWare, Profile, QuickBooks, and Simply accounting as an asset.
- Tech-savvy with an interest in learning new software/applications
- Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation
- Able to work independently and demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities.
-Excellent team player and work well in a remote environment
- Well-rounded communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Willingness to accept increasing responsibility as experience grows
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organization skills, with strong attention to detail in accounting and bookkeeping matters
- Proficient in spoken and written Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset
- Willingness to accept increasing responsibility as experience grows
