Did you remember the countless sleepless nights to prepare for the designation exams? Did you remember how many family gatherings and parties you have missed because you had to prepare for the exams and how the exam hall was so cold and your fingers got numb? Did you also remember what went through you mind when your name was called and stepped onto the convocation stage to accept your designation?
I do.
I was so proud of myself pulling through the hardship and achieving this honor. I was ready to make great things happen. I was ready to be successful. I was ready to create my legend.
But little did I know that I will be stuck in the 9-9 daily routine. Don’t get me wrong, I had a great job, with great salary, my life was fine.
But is this how I create my legend? Is this what I define success ?
My answer is no.
I know for a fact that there’s more I can offer.
In 2010 with great courage and determination, I have started my solo accounting practise -Jayce. I still remembered as a young CA with mixed feelings: excited about the opportunities but concerned about the business risks and lack of business resources.
After numerous challenges and opportunities, hits and misses,Jayce is now a successful LLP with 3 partners serving over 400 businesses.
